2008 Vintage
Grape Varieties: 80% Monastrell, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. D.O. Yecla Harvest Wine made of a selection of grapes coming from our low-yielding oldest un-irrigated vineyards. Wine harvest was made at their right moment of ripening. Long maceration of 18/20 days. Ageing in American and French oak barrels during 14 months. Bottled unfiltered.
Tasting Notes The wine has a brilliant cherry red colouration of medium to high density. It has a clean, powerful, complex nose with plenty of fruit-wood balance, spicy liquorice and smokey notes. It has a fat, powerful, well balanced, full-bodied palate, with good length. It has dense, well integrated, non-aggressive tannins, which will contribute to a the long life of this wine.
Serving Suggestions: Red meat, dried cheese, game hunting dishes.
Serving temperature: 17ºC-18ºC.
