Vineyards: Founded in 1940, Bodegas Campante is one of the most progressive and stable wine firms in Galicia and the largest private bodega in Spains D.O. Ribeiro. The home estate, Vina Reboreda, provides all of the grapes used in the top wine, Gran Reboreda. The Ribeiro vineyards are located on the slopes of the Mino River inland from D.O. Rias Baixas near the provincial capital and ancient Roman mining centre of Orense. Here, Albarino gives way to Treixadura and Loureiro as the primary noble varieties, along with a small amount of Godello.
