The Palacio de Fefiñanes has been linked to wine production since the 17th century. The winery, as a business venture, was launched a hundred years ago, with the establishment of the trademark and label Albariño de Fefiñanes in 1928. The outstanding Albariño grape from the Salné s Valley is central to wine production from this winery. It is a variety which has been nurtured to maintain its character, extraordinary expressiveness and uniqueness. Wine making The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature and bottled during the first 6 months of 2009.
Tasting Notes
This attractive white wine shows the great Albariño grape in all its splendour. Fresh fruit, floral notes and a subtle herbaceous elementcombine magnificently to produce this enticing silky white with pleasing minerality and refreshing acidity. Balanced, distinctive and elegant.
