Coto De Hayas Crianza 2005
Grape Varieties: 60% Garnacha, 40% Tempranillo. D.O. Campo De Borja Wine Making The wine is a blend of selected grapes from Garnacha, vines which are more than 30 years old, and 20 year old Tempranillo vines. Traditional vinification methods are used. The wine is fermented at 28ºC, followed by a maceration for 15 days. The wine is aged for 9 months in American oak casks, prior to bottling and a further maturation period of at least 12 months. Tasting Notes The wine is clean and bright, with ruby red colouration, of medium intensity and with violet hues. The nose has medium intensity with complex aromas of ripe fruit and spices. The palate is smooth with a pleasing complexity and good length. It is full tasting and harmonic with the tannins from the oak.
