D. O. Montilla Moriles
Grape Variety: 100% Pedro Ximénez
Vintage: N/V
Wine Making
This is a fragrant wine of intense aromas acquired from the development under the blanket of Flor in 500L white American oak casks in the Solera system for more than 5 years .
Tasting Notes
The wine has a pale straw colouration. It has an assertive, yeasty nose, evocative of crusty-bread. It has a clean, tangy palate with a refreshing finish and a softness which makes it delightfully easy to drink. This wine presents an elegant style with typical Montilla characters.
Serving Suggestions: as an aperitif accompanied by “tapas” of olives, shellfish, ham, cheese or fishi. It is one of the rare wines that will happily partner dishes containing vinegar.
Serving Temperature: 7ºC-9ºC.
