The Palacio de Fefiñanes has been linked to wine production since the 17th century. The winery, as a business venture, was launched a hundred years ago, with the establishment of the trademark and label Albariño de Fefiñanes in 1928. The outstanding Albariño grape from the Salné s Valley is central to wine production from this winery. It is a variety which has been nurtured to maintain its character, extraordinary expressiveness and uniqueness. Wine making The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. It is then aged for thirty months in stainless steel tanks, with fine lees for six months of this, with b âtonage. Tasting Notes
The III Ano 2005 shows all of the expressiveness of the Albarino grape, with a full nose of mature fruit and a mineral character. Complex and meaty with a firm structure in the mouth, it promises a splendid evolution for this elegant wine with such personality.
