The Palacio de Fefiñanes has been linked to wine production since the 17th century. The winery, as a business venture, was launched a hundred years ago, with the establishment of the trademark and label Albariño de Fefiñanes in 1928. The outstanding Albariño grape from the Salné s Valley is central to wine production from this winery. It is a variety which has been nurtured to maintain its character, extraordinary expressiveness and uniqueness. Wine making The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. It is then aged for thirty months in stainless steel tanks, with fine lees for six months of this, with bâtonage. Tasting Notes
The III Ano 2007 shows all of the expressiveness of the Albarino grape, with a full nose of mature fruit and a mineral character. Complex and meaty with a firm structure in the mouth, it promises a splendid evolution for this elegant wine with such personality.
