D.O. Alicante Grape variety: Monastrell and other varieties (Garnacha Tintorera, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon)
Tasting Notes: Red cherry colour with a shade of violet reflections. On the nose it shows clean notes of red fruit (raspberry) well assembled with its wood (discrete toast and black pepper). Nice and fresh medium structure, well balanced with sweet blackberry and dusty tannins.
Wine Making The grapes are manually harvested from vines that are 20 years + for the Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera and 10 years + for the Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by a strict selection at the winery. Maceration of 12 days under temperature control (26/28ºC). Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel deposits. Aged in French oak barrels for 4 months. Serving temperature: 16ºC-18ºC.
