2004 Vintage
D.O. Alicante Grape variety: 70% Monastrell, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Garnacha Tintorera Wine Making Made with Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera grapes from vines of about 29 years old and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from 13 year old vines. The grapes are manually harvested followed by a strict selection at the winery. Cool Maceration, previous to fermentation. Total maceration of skins and seeds for 35 days and malolactic fermentation in barrel. Ageing for 20 months in French oak barrels without clarifying or filtering. Tasting Notes Red cherry in colour. An intense nose of elegant noble wood, liquorice and very ripe fruit (morello cherries). Elegant and voluminous in the mouth, velvet like and dense with gentle with hints of toasted bread and smoke. It has a long persistent aftertaste. Serving temperature: 16ºC-18ºC.
