Alicante Grape Variety: Grenache, Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Making Made with Garnacha Tintorera grapes from 46 year old vines, Monastrell grapes from 30 year old vines and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from 21 year old vines. The grapes are manually harvested in 16kg boxes followed by a strict selection at the winery. Cool Maceration, previous to fermentation using pigeage to homogenise and softly extract polyphenols. Total maceration with skins and seeds for 25 days and malolactic fermentation and ageing over lees in new French oak barrels for 21 months. Tasting Notes Deep purple in colour, with the nose offering black cherry and dark red fruits with overtones of toasted oak and minerals. The wine is multi-layered, velvety and intense whilst retaining balance. This wine will cellar well for many years but can be drunk now. Serving temperature: 16ºC-18ºC.
