2006 Vintage
The Wine Classic Nebbiolo aromatics of violets and roses, dried herbs, cherries and spices make way for earthy, savoury and dried fruit notes. The palate is powerful with lush acidity. Tarry notes backed with lovely, grainy textured tannins that are round and full complement flavours of preserved, spiced cherries, plums, earth and star anise.

Fermentation lasts for about four days after which the wine is lightly pressed and put into oak barrels where polymerising helps to soften and round the tannins. The wine then goes through malolactic fermentation in barrel where the wine is aged.
