2009 Vintage
D.O.: Ribera Del Duero Grape Varieties: Tempranillo from our “CarraRoa” and “La Bodega” parcels.
Vinification: Selected grapes were crushed, destemmed and fermented at controlled temperatures. Natural stabilisation before bottling. A cold soak prior to alcoholic fermentation enabled us to enhance the aromatic potential and elegance of the wines.
Tasting Notes Colour: A very deep, Morello cherry colour with a wide blue rim, enormously deep in colour with dazzling brightness. Aromas: The nose shows intense, dense primary aromas, with an array of ripe fruit notes and forest fruit, such as blackberries, bramble and raspberries. Very subtle floral hints also come through. On palate: Full on the palate, with a volume on the entry to the palate that is intense but not heavy. The fruit comes through well at each stage of the tasting. The wine has the classic freshness and elegance of the vintage, from the attack to the finish.
Serving temperature: Between 16º C and 17° C.This wine has not gone through any stabilisation treatments, so a small amount of sediment may appear in the bottle. Decanting recommended.
Optimum drinking: now until 2017
