2008 Vintage
Grape Varieties: 100% Garnacha. D.O. Campo De Borja The grape production for this wine is limited to 5,500 vines, from just three vineyards, which were planted over 100 years ago. Traditional wine making methods are used for wine production. Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature of 28ºC, followed by maceration, with skin contact, for four weeks. The wine is then aged for four months in American oak barrels, followed by a minimum of four months in bottles.
Tasting Notes The wine has great clarity and brightness with a deep ruby red colouration. The nose is potent blend of spices and ripe fruit, with a hint of toastiness and of cocoa. The palate is full, harmonious and smooth with good length. In the finish there is a return to the fruit and spice, which is first detected in the nose. Serving Temperature: Between 17ºC-18ºC Technical Information Harvest: 4th week of September. Alcohol: 13.5% Vol.
