Ageing: Matured during the first 6 months in the same barrel on its own lees. Batonnage: twice per week. Ageing in barrel for 8 months.
Vintage: Climatically, the 2009 vintage was somewhat unusual to previous years. Autumn and Winter were milder and drier than expected, with very little rainfall. Spring was wet and fresh making it difficult to carry out various tasks on the vineyard which provoked a delay in the cycle. The summer months were hot and dry, with low nocturnal temperatures during the months of August and September. Harvest begins on the 13th October 2009 with a lower production to previous years but with perfectly healthy bunches.
