Grapes: 100% Xarello
Literally meaning Vinyard of the Moles and touted as Spains first cult white wine, this organic and biodynamically farmed wine comes from 60+ year old Xarello vines (the oldest known surviving). Made by Ester Nin, one of the top Priorat winemakers in collaboration with Enric Soler.
Ageing: Aged for 8 months in Burgundy barrels.
Tasting Notes: Medium gold-colored, on the nose there are mineral notes, tropical fruits and honey. In the mouth this is a generous and very complex wine, with good citrus acidity, pears and tropical fruits. A smooth, concentrated, and rich wine with a very long finish.
